  Taken all our animals here for many years. Great staff and Dr. Jake truly cares about every animal he sees. Always takes time to answer questions and doesn't try to bleed you dry. Plus their groomer is excellent! They also do animal rescue and adoption. Great great place to go!

  Why are the pets from O'Fallon that are picked up by the police brought here instead of taken to one of the great Vets in O'Fallon? My cat got out and was taken here and took me over a week to locate him. When I figured out he was here they wanted to charge nearly a thousand dollars to give him back. By that time he was up for adoption for around a hundred dollars but not for me for that price (I understand I would have to pay more than this but not nearly 10x more). The vet here brought up his childs tuition at the ivy league college when we argued the cost. I didn't have that kind of money and he implied he would sue me for animal abuse if we didn't pay up the crazy fee. In the end a few of my family members chipped in to get my cat back. I have been to several vets in O'Fallon that I am sure would love this business to take care of their own residents pets (and I would have located my cat in a day at one of these places). Is there some under the table deal going on with this vet and the city of O'Fallon?
